Here is exactly what every used vehicle undergoes before it reaches our lot.
Mechanical and Fluids
Repair any fluid leaks. Check brake friction on brake pads and brake shoes. Check the A/C system is at proper charge level and in good working order. Test the battery and replace if needed. Replace any loose steering or suspension parts. Change oil and filter. Change engine and cabin air filters if needed. Level off all fluids and change if needed. Change fuel filters and top off DEF fluid on all diesel vehicles.
Safety and Equipment
Check all restraining devices, seats and headrests work properly and are present. Check tread life on all tires. Check for spare tire, wheel and spare tire equipment, if equipped. Replace wiper blades. Check all lights are operational. Remove any wheel locks and install regular lugnuts in their place. Perform any recalls prior to vehicle sale.
Privacy
Delete all personal data and GPS information in vehicle infotainment systems. Erase universal garage door openers.
