WIND LAKE, WI
A very bizarre problem with my new 2014 Impala losing air in one of the tires was uncovered and corrected (a manufacturing label where the tire meets the rim causing it to lose air). This extra effort in finding this was appreciated. Read More >>
As usual I was treated like family' and am pleased with the service department and end results. My issue was that there was no power to the constant hot pins at my trailer receptacle. The tech found that the wires were never hooked up at the factory when the truck was built. [I ordered the truck, new, with a trailer package] He connected them and the problem was solved. My only issue is that I believe the repairs should have been covered by GMC even though I was only charged for 1/2 hour ($54.00). It is a 7 wire plug receptacle, and only 5 wires were connected. I paid the bill , but I still think that it was a mistake made by GMC. Those pins feed the charger for my 5th wheels battery charger and the controls for my refrigerator. As it was the refrigerator lost power and started to warm up, and there was not enough power to control my trailer break away switch to activate the emergency breaks. [needless to say what could have happened if the trailer did break away and could not apply the brakes] I would like a call from an authorized representative from Lynch to explain your policy in a matter like this. I will continue to use the expertise of Lynch's service dept. an sales. Read More >>
